  1. a dollar-pegged asset trading 17.7% off its 52w high of 1.21 is not normal stablecoin behavior. the HOLD rating is generous imo

    1. its Aave collateral backing it, the 1.21 print was a supply squeeze artifact not real value. 1.00 here is basically the peg working again

      1. if 1.21 was a supply squeeze artifact then cutting supply fixed it, not the peg holding. same conclusion either way i guess

    2. 17.7% off 1.21 only sounds alarming until you remember the peg target is 1.00. it’s literally back where it’s supposed to be

    1. This is the right test. Every stablecoin looks calm on a quiet day. Show me GHO holding 1.00 on a day when Aave liquidations spike and i will care about the rest of the analysis

  2. 2 bull vs 5 bear factors and stage 3 topping, and the verdict is still HOLD with low conviction lol. that is a WAIT dressed up as a hold

      1. 1.21 was clearly a thin supply squeeze, calling the product failed over one illiquid print is lazy. judge it on the depeg direction, that is where the risk actually lives

    1. a stablecoin analysis with an actual WAIT rating would be useful for once. low conviction hold at 1.00 just reads as “we don’t know”

      1. a WAIT rating on a stablecoin would break their rating template though. HOLD at 1.00 is cowardice but the template has no slot for pegged assets

    2. my favorite part is the trade log. 80 trades, 0% win rate, and the plan still says size it at 15% of the portfolio. the system basically rediscovered leaving your cash in the drawer

      1. 80 trades and a 0% win rate is the funniest backtest i have ever seen printed. sizing that at 15% of a portfolio takes real conviction lol

  3. a HOLD rating on a dollar-pegged token is comedy. either the peg holds and the 1.21 print was noise, or it breaks and none of the 7 factors matter
