0 bull vs 9 bear factors, ADX at 38.5, distribution on the OBV. anyone buying that dip at 9.11 is fighting a freight train
disagree on trusting the system here. that same backtest lost 30% while buy and hold went flat. the signal is worse than doing nothing on LEO
^ 45% win rate on 49 trades is basically a coin flip with extra steps, yeah id sit this one out too
coin flip with extra steps is still the most honest description of trend following on alts like this lol. 12.3% off the high aint a discount
the drawdown column on that backtest is brutal. 9 bear factors and 0 bull, you dont need a system to tell you to sit out LEO here
backtest losing 30% while price went flat is the strongest sell signal on the page honestly, system or no system
a signal worse than doing nothing is the most brutal sentence a backtest can earn, and this one earned it on 49 trades. sit out indeed
LEO still does real volume on Bitfinex so the token isnt going anywhere, chart just says stay out until 9.72 breaks. support at 8.55 is the line im watching
8.55 is doing a lot of work in that thesis. If it cracks you are looking at the 5.51 low from the chart pretty fast.
8.55 held twice in august tho. if it holds a third time the 9.72 breakout crowd shows up fast
third test of 8.55 into a printed SELL, the edge is gone either way per the backtest. sidelines pays 4 percent to wait
4 percent to wait while a coin flip resolves. bonds of the degen world honestly
sidelines paying 4 percent is doing a lot of work when inflation eats half of it. agree on the edge being gone tho, 49 trades is not a sample
still beats holding an exchange token through a sell flag with 30k on the line. real yield beats heroics
49 trades is a thin sample sure, but the backtest losing 30 percent while price went flat is the datapoint you cant explain away. system underperformed buy and hold by a mile
49 trades losing 30 percent on a flat tape is the whole sell case in one number. if the system bleeds in a range, imagine what an actual drawdown does to it
49 trades bleeding 30 percent on a flat tape is the whole story. the system is telling you the edge is gone before the market does
4 percent gross on the sidelines with LEO stuck at 9.11 under a 10.39 high is a defensible boring answer. sometimes the trade is keeping the 30k intact on a stale edge
third tests of 8.55 rarely hold, and even the backtest admitted doing nothing beats the system on LEO. taking the 4 percent on the sidelines with you
third test in a row is a pattern not a floor, and the 9.72 breakout crowd still needs bitfinex volume to cooperate. sidelines until one of those changes
5.51 needs 8.55 to fail and bitfinex revenue to roll over together. LEO buybacks are the one bid that never takes a day off
9.11 with the 52w high at 10.39, LEO is one bad bitfinex quarter away from the 8s. watching from the sidelines
sell call on LEO at 9.11 with the 52w high at 10.39 is barely a downgrade from hold. brave stuff marcus
barely a downgrade is generous, 9.11 is 12 percent off the high. the brave call wouldve been a buy under 8.55 if the third test holds
9 bear factors, 0 bull, sidelines at 4 percent. marcus reid writing a sell with numbers instead of vibes, respect
