  1. The system logged BUY at 9.68 and SELL at 9.61 the very next day. that kind of whipsaw churn would eat a small portfolio alive in fees alone

    1. ^ exactly, look at the trade log, like 8 round trips since july and almost all of them small losses. trend following gets chopped to bits in this range

      1. counted the same 8 round trips, half of them sub 1 pct moves. range chop is a trend followers worst enemy, the SELL at 9.04 is just pattern recognition

        1. range chop kills exchange volume and LEO is literally an exchange revenue proxy. buying it into an ADX 46.8 downtrend is betting bitfinex traders suddenly get active. no thanks

          1. fee revenue as the only bull case and even that dies when exchange volume stays this dead. sitting out till LEO reclaims the range floor, got burned chasing the last bounce

          2. fee revenue as the only bull case and even that dies when exchange volume stays this dead. sitting out till LEO reclaims the range floor, got burned chasing the last bounce

      2. welcome to trend following on an exchange token lol. the one trend that pays has to cover seven chops and the backtest says it eventually does

    2. whipsaw churn is exactly why the 12k sizing matters. small enough that two fakeouts dont kill you, big enough the real leg down pays

  2. price below the 50d at 9.20 and the 200d at 9.65, death cross confirmed, ADX reading 46.8. people in my group chat still calling this a dip buy lol

    1. ADX 46.8 inside a stage 4 read is about as loud as the signal gets. the dip buyers in your group chat are arguing with math

  3. stage 4 downtrend, 7 bear factors vs 2 bull, and people will still ask if LEO is a buy at 9.04. that 2.88x volume up day is a dead cat bounce at best lol

    1. hard agree on the bounce take. the MACD flip means nothing while price sits 13% off the high, burn rate cant save the chart

    2. 2.88x volume into a stage 4 read is distribution finishing, not absorption. anyone buying 9.04 here is catching a knife with extra steps

      1. knife with extra steps lol, accurate. only reason i keep a LEO tab open is the burn dashboard and even that looks tired under the 200d at 9.65

    3. dead cat bounce is generous. that 2.88x volume spike printed right at the 50d rejection, classic stop hunt before continuation lower

  4. Elena is right to flag this. I held LEO through the 10.39 peak and watched it bleed out. Waiting for a real higher low before even thinking about reentry.

    1. a real higher low after the 10.39 peak means waiting months on an exchange token with burn pressure still building. id rather miss the first 10 pct of a reversal

  5. burn rate buying pressure flagged while price sits under the 200d at 9.65. literally the only bull case is a bounce and the system already sold that

    1. and bnb holders watching from the other side of the exchange token trade lol. at least bnb has an ecosystem, leo is purely bitfinex p&l with a burn schedule

    2. 9.65 200d plus ADX 46.8 is a freight train, agreed. only thing id add is bitfinex occasionally does big buybacks, that can delay the bleed but not stop it

      1. buybacks delaying the bleed is a bounce trade thesis at best, not a reason to fight a 46.8 ADX trend read. trade the bounce, dont marry it

  6. LEO is basically an exchange loyalty point with a chart. SELL at 9.04 with burn rate flagging is the cleanest call this system has made all week

  7. 2 bull vs 7 bear and the only bull factor is a MACD flip inside a stage 4 downtrend. the system calling AVOID instead of SELL-lite is the honest part

  8. The whipsaw log is the honest part of these write-ups. Eight round trips since July and the system still sizes 12k on the next signal, that takes discipline most humans lack.

  9. 12k deployment on a SELL is funny given the whole system exists to avoid conviction sizing. anyway the 9.04 exit was clean, 7 bear factors to 2 bulls is not a coin flip
