wait and no clear edge is the correct call tbh. rsi 38.6 and a vol ratio of 0.32, nobody is touching this
Agreed, and the backtest flipped between 0.09 and 0.10 four times for basically nothing. The system itself cannot make up its mind here.
four flips between 0.09 and 0.10 is the system telling you the trend filter has no edge at this price size. agree, wait for structure
agree on waiting for structure. if it ever reclaims 0.012 with actual volume i might look twice, until then rsi under 40 and vol 0.32 is a graveyard. the half a cent call above sounds about right tbh
backtest made 18.3% while just holding made 61%. and this is supposed to convince me the system works?
the whole point is dodging that -33% drawdown tho, risk adjusted it is not crazy. still not touching a coin with OBV bleeding
the honest label is no trade imo. HOLD implies someone out there holding this through a -33 percent drawdown for a coin trading at 0.01
The drawdown column is the whole trade though. That 61 percent hold includes eating the -33, the system only dodged it on paper.
hold with no edge is just a polite way of saying bagholding with extra steps. 18.3 system return vs 61 buy and hold says everything, the trend filter is noise at this size
18.3 vs 61 over the same window is brutal for the trend filter. at a one cent token the fees on repeated entries probably eat half that underperformance again
fees on a one cent token are the silent killer nobody models. four round trips at those spreads and the 18.3 turns into single digits real fast
a letter willing to print 18.3 next to 61 is at least self aware, most bury that column. but with a vol ratio of 0.32 that 0.012 reclaim probably never shows up. half a cent then dust
18.3% vs 61% holding looks bad until you remember the -33% drawdown column. the whole value is not being fully exposed when it rolls over
18.3 vs 61 with four whipsaws, the system is honest at least. most newsletters would bury that column entirely
18.3 vs 61 is worse than it looks, the system also ate four whipsaw trades to underperform a napkin
four whipsaws netting 18.3 against 61 for buy and hold is the funniest anti-ad for a signal system ive seen all week
nobody claims the system beats holding in a green year. it earns its keep if 2026 chops sideways and buy and hold eats another -33% leg
Vol ratio 0.32 means nobody is even trading this. HOLD is generous, no-edge is the honest label.
0.32 vol ratio is brutal. at that flow level even the 0.01 support is doing more work than any buyer in this market
OBV distribution at 0.01. Bought charts like this in 2019, they usually see half a cent before anything interesting happens. Patience.
half a cent also lines up with the measured move off the range high, and with OBV still sloping down there is nothing to front run here. the 61 pct hold crowd gets to ride the next leg without me
measured move to half a cent with OBV still falling is the boring but correct read. nothing to do here until volume shows up
obv sloping down for weeks, agreeing on the half a cent read. 0.012 reclaim on actual volume or nothing
half a cent feels harsh until you check the vol ratio. nobody clears 0.01 with 0.32 turnover, gravity wins
Seconding the half a cent read, the measured move off the range high lands right there too. Any entry before a 0.012 reclaim is just donating to the book
0.012 reclaim discipline is right. sub cent coins wick both directions for fun, measured move targets mean nothing when one whale decides to market sell
rsi 38.6, price above the 200d but under the 50d. this exact zone is where trend systems print their ugliest losers, the wait tag is doing you a favor
