Trend-following methodology: 50d/200d MA crossover + RSI filter + ADX regime gate

R:R 1.19 midrange entry and they still call it HIGH conviction lol. stop at 49.78 i agree with tho, below that the structure is cooked
the 15% position, 3 tranches and 15% cash buffer is the only genuinely sane part of this whole deployment plan
1.19 R:R labeled high conviction is my favorite genre of deep dive. the 61 and 64 targets do all the heavy lifting, entry is just the entry
targets 61 and 64 with entry around 54.7. not bad asymmetry if the LTC momentum holds, took a small first tranche myself
7 of 9 factors green and ADX at 35.2, took the first tranche near 54. stop under 49.78 caps the damage, targets at 61 and 64 do the rest
RSI at 69.5 and the call is DEPLOY? that is buying into an already stretched move. would rather wait for a pullback toward the 50d at 47.55
rsi 69.5 during stage 2 is literally the trend following playbook. you will sit around waiting for 47.55 and never get filled, i have watched this exact thing play out a dozen times
burned too many times waiting for the perfect fill. took half a tranche at 54.4 and kept dry powder in case the 50d tag actually happens
still a death cross on the chart tho, 50d under the 200d at 50.42. system says uptrend, the averages say transition. torn on this one
death cross at 50.42 printed and price never even visited 47. lagging indicators love telling you what already stopped happening
The death cross at 50.42 is a lagging artifact when price already trades above both averages. The 39.39 low holding is the more useful signal here.
78.76 a year ago, 54.69 now. held the whole way down like an idiot but the 39 low held and that counts for something
same bag, been dca-ing under 50 since the bounce off 39.39. patience is the whole ltc thesis at this point
