Trend-Following Backtest
2-year simulation on a notional USD 12,000 starting balance using the model’s 50d/200d MA crossover + RSI filter. The model goes long when price is above a rising 50d MA with RSI 40-75, and goes flat on a death cross or RSI above 82. Hypothetical, before fees and slippage.

DCA vs Lump Sum (MORPHO)
Hypothetical result of a notional USD 12,000 placed one year ago under different timing schedules. Simulation only, not a recommendation.

| Lump Sum (1y ago) | +7.5% | USD 11,693 |
| DCA — 4 buys | -6.4% | USD 11,233 |

Levels the system watches
Reference levels used by the trend model to classify MORPHO. They describe how the model reads the chart, not what anyone should do.
| Support (recent swing low) | USD 2.06 |
| Resistance (recent swing high) | USD 2.50 |
| Trend model’s invalidation level (ATR-based) | USD 1.92 (-7.5% from current price) |
| ATR (14) | USD 0.0780 (3.76%/day) |
| Price location vs trend (model label) | Pullback |
The invalidation level is where the model would stop treating the current trend reading as valid (roughly 2x ATR below price or 0.5x ATR below the recent swing low, whichever is lower). It is a model parameter, not a stop-loss recommendation.

Trend-following methodology: 50d/200d MA crossover + RSI filter + ADX regime gate · Backtests are hypothetical and exclude fees.
one bullish factor out of eight and its just the golden cross lol. RSI 42 with MACD negative, this thing can bleed for weeks
stage 4 downtrend at $2.07 and the byline says deep-value contrarian lol. that $2.90 high feels like a lifetime ago
To be fair the model did flag bearish, the deep-value tag is just the persona byline. Still would not touch a falling 50d though.
right? -28.5% off the high isnt a dip anymore, its a trend. waiting for actual basing before i touch this
Morpho lending TVL is solid though. A 28% drawdown on a governance token in a risk-off week is fairly normal. Not sure the Stage 4 framing holds.
TVL argument would land better if OBV wasnt falling and vol ratio wasnt 0.45. lenders are fine, token buyers are leaving
