Trend-following methodology: 50d/200d MA crossover + RSI filter + ADX regime gate
Data via Yahoo Finance / CoinGecko · Not financial advice. For educational purposes only.
8 bull factors and 1 bear, and the one bear is being 52% off the high. kinda sums up the whole POL situation tbh
RSI at 66.2 right at the 0.12 resistance. If this breaks with that 2.0 volume ratio behind it, the 0.25 high is realistic. Watching closely.
@Dana ADX is only 19.2 though, trend strength is weak. i would wait for that to pick up before trusting the breakout
ADX 19.2 is thin ice for a breakout call, agreed. but it has been rising off the base since the macd flip, i would give it two more daily closes before judging
fair on the macd but two daily closes can cost you 20% if the 0.12 wall rejects again. id rather set the stop under 0.10 and let it prove itself
The 2.0 vol ratio cuts both ways though. That much chase volume right at resistance is how bull traps get printed. Tight stop or nothing.
8 bull factors and it is still 52% down from the high. that is either the best entry of the cycle or the most elaborate copium, no in between
52% off the high with 8 green factors is a math problem, not copium. either the rebrand delivers or the one bear factor wins, no need to spiritualize it
@oilersats exactly, 8 green factors at 52% off the high is a discount or a trap and the 0.12 close will tell you which. no conviction needed until then
resistance at 0.12 IS the price, so this whole trade is a breakout bet with extra steps. daily close above it or nothing
daily close above 0.12 or nothing is right, but vol ratio 2.0 into the wall means the breakout candle could be violent either way. set the alert and walk off
@tablestaker this. its a breakout bet wearing an analysis costume. size it like one
RSI at 66.2 with price only at 0.12 is the part people should look at twice. momentum is real but you are not early anymore
^ vol ratio 2.0 on OBV accumulation tho, someone big is eating supply while everyone complains about the drawdown
this. rsi 66.2 straight into the 0.12 wall is where fomo entries go to die. waiting for the retest
0.12 into the 0.15 breakdown level with RSI already at 66, this is where rebrands go to prove they are more than a ticker swap
+54.9% in 3 months and still down 11.7% on the year. held through the 0.07 low, not selling at 0.12, support at 0.09 is my line
held from the 0.07 low too and plus 54.9% feels great until you read still down 11.7% on the year. the 0.09 line decides if this was a cycle or a gift
the plan says stage 2 but the macd flip happened like a week ago. half now half at 0.09, not eating a full bag at 0.12 off one golden cross
macd flipping a week ago and people ready to eat the full bag at 0.12. half now half at 0.09 is just adult risk management
half at 0.12 half at 0.09 is fine until 0.09 never fills and you ride half a position thru the 0.25 run. been there, still bitter
dropping 35k on an ex-MATIC rebrand is brave. i held MATIC thru the swap and honestly stage 2 or not, im not adding until 0.15 reclaims
0.15 is the right line, that was the breakdown level. below it this whole thing is just a bounce inside the wreckage
resistance at 0.12 and the 0.15 breakdown level sitting three cents apart, this resolves violently one way or another. small size is the only sane play
same, rode the matic swap down to 0.07. stage 2 entry here is priced way better than what we paid back then, funny how that works
