  1. the accumulation part is what people skip. OBV climbing with vol ratio 1.62 while price is still 59% off the high, thats not retail buying the dip

  2. RSI 64 with ADX 45 is a real trend, no chop here. Still, deploying at 119 when the 52w high is 294 stings. At least the tranche plan keeps it sane.

    1. same feeling on the entry. buying 119 after watching it under 70 last quarter hurts but the system doesnt do feelings. first tranche is basically a test buy

    2. the 3k size with a stop at 108 is what sold me. Worst case you eat about 10%, target 2 at 139 pays 16. Fine math for an aggressive book.

      1. Math checks out until a gap takes out 108 overnight. SOL loves weekend gaps, I would halve the first tranche or widen the stop. The overall shape of the 12k plan is right though.

        1. halving the tranche AND widening the stop gives you a worse risk reward on a 3k starter though. if a gap takes 108 you eat the ~10% and move on, the small size is the gap insurance

  3. RSI 64 and ADX 45 sure, trend is real. but entering 20% above the 99.99 leg start means the easy money already left. a retest toward 108 costs nothing to wait for

  4. The 2yr backtest returns +1.5% while DCA with 12 buys did +19.3%? Says a lot about the 50/200 crossover getting chopped to bits on SOL.

    1. backtests always look worse than DCA with hindsight. But the live trade log caught that Sept run from 99.99 to 119.60, that one was real.

      1. That September leg from 99.99 to 119.60 happened while the backtest sat flat, which is exactly why I weight the live log heavier here. Just hope tranche two fills closer to 115 than 125.

    2. +1.5% over two years is the generator being brutally honest. Crossover rules on SOL get run over by those 20% weekly candles. The tranche ladder adapts to that better than any signal.

    3. the DCA +19.3% only looks that good cause the window catches the run up from low bases. slide it 6 months like petronela said and the crossover probably wins. window picking decides these comparisons
