5.24% daily ATR and they call this a safe deploy? stop would get clipped in an afternoon on xrp
That is why the stop sits at 1.35. -10.5% is just the price of admission on something this jumpy.
thats why the stop sits at 1.35, you size for the 5.24% ATR instead of pretending it away. position sizing does the heavy lifting, not the label on the trade
thats why the tranches exist. lump sum on a 5.24 pct ATR name is how you panic sell the 1.35 stop before the thesis even plays out
atr cuts both ways tho. 5% daily swings is also how you get filled on the 1.45 ladder early. under 2 bucks i take that tradeoff
ADX 41.6 with 9 of 10 factors green and the only bear case is being 58% off 3.65. i mean, thats the entry, not the problem
ADX 41.6 is real but 9/10 green factors has burned me on alts before. i am laddering at 1.45 and 1.35 instead of lumping it all at 1.51
laddering at 1.45 and 1.35 is fine but if price actually touches 1.35 the whole thesis is invalidated, no? half those entries would be knife catching
this is the contradiction in every tranche plan. if 1.35 breaks the thesis is dead, so your lower tranches only fill when you no longer want them. size the top tranche like its the only one
exactly, the 1.45 tranche only fills when momentum is already dying. i just size the 1.51 entry smaller and skip the invalidation zone entirely
best comment in the thread. lower tranches only feel smart when the thesis survives, otherwise you just bought more of a losing trade with discipline
a 30k deploy on something with ADX 41.6 is fine, you just scale in tranches instead of market buying the whole thing at 1.51
58 pct off the high with OBV still climbing is the only bear factor i genuinely respect here. everything else is noise
agreed, and OBV rising with vol ratio 1.55 while price is this far under 3.65 is textbook accumulation. tranche 3 near 1.51 is basically a free option
free option until the 1.35 invalidation reminds you options expire. still, OBV climbing on 1.55 vol ratio with 1.79b of etf inflows behind it is about as good as tranche 3 setups get
58 pct off the high being the entry hinges entirely on OBV holding. if that rolls over the discount becomes a trap real quick
OBV holding plus 1.79B in ETF inflows is a decent combo, still, deploying 30k into something with a 5.24 percent daily ATR is brave. scaling in thirds would let that 1.35 stop actually do its job
this. the entire 58 pct discount framing is one indicator deep. OBV rolls and youre holding a stage 2 label on a stage 1 chart
9 of 10 factors green and RSI at 57.6 means there is still room before it gets stretched. the one bear factor is literally just distance from the high, which every alt has right now
vol ratio 1.55 with OBV climbing is the part people skip. someone is absorbing here, not distributing
A stop at 1.35 being only -10.5 pct on a 5.24 pct ATR name means two bad candles take you out. Tranche math still beats lump sum here.
30k into xrp under 2 dollars is bold but the staged deployment makes it survivable. stealing that 1.35 invalidation level for my own entry
9/10 green factors and they still stagger the 30k in tranches, that discipline is the only reason i take this one seriously. lump sum at 1.51 is how you end up stopped at 1.35 the same week
entry at 58 percent off the high sounds like a discount until the 1.80 level rejects twice. then its a six week bag hold. hope the deployment plan has a plan C beyond the BUY tag
two rejections at 1.80 is exactly why the tranches exist though. one fill near 1.45 and the whole 30k deploy survives the chop anyway
two rejections at 1.80 with OBV still climbing reads like accumulation above resistance, not rejection. third touch usually breaks
1.79B in ETF inflows with OBV still rising is the part skeptics keep skipping. someone is absorbing supply under 1.55 while everyone argues about the 3.65 high
