price showing 0.00 on a UNI analysis lol. the data feed fell asleep somewhere. hard to HOLD what you cant price
same zeros showed up on the okb and near pages yesterday, feed provider issue. by the time it fixed the conclusion was chop anyway
RSI 46.4 got computed but the MAs are all zero, so the feed half worked. Fun bug. Same thing on the 10k version of this piece btw.
partial compute is the tell. someone is averaging an empty series and getting zero instead of null, classic vendor bug. brutal when it lands on a live analysis page nobody babysits overnight
lmao i refreshed twice thinking my browser died. at least the RSI 46.4 part had a pulse, everything else was just zeros staring back at me
same, and the fix will probably land right as some actual uniswap news breaks and the whole analysis ages in a day anyway
called it. the fix lands the same week some actual uniswap governance news breaks and this whole thread ages overnight
if actual uni governance news breaks this week im framing this thread. the 30k hold call made off a feed showing 0.00 across half the board, incredible
came for the UNI hold thesis, stayed for the wall of zeros. wild that RSI 46.4 is the only number on the page that survived
0 bull / 6 bear factors when every input is a zero. i would ignore this one until the data gets fixed tbh
RSI 46.4 computing while the MAs zeroed out means partial data. enough to say sideways, nowhere near enough to size a hold off
exactly, sideways off partial data is the honest call. sizing a hold off RSI and a wall of zeros is how a feed bug turns into a portfolio bug
the scarier part is a HOLD verdict still rendered on top of the zeros. if the feed errored loud instead of defaulting quiet the widget would show nothing at all, instead it publishes confident garbage
exactly, average of an empty series should be null not zero. someone skipped a null check and the whole verdict engine just rolled with it
confident garbage is the exact phrase. an empty input should scream, not average to zero and stamp a verdict on top
agreed on the loud error part. RSI 46.4 pulling live while every MA sat at 0.00 means half the feed was healthy, which is exactly the failure mode nobody monitors for
quietly defaulting to zero instead of erroring loud should be a firing offense at a data vendor. ngl RSI 46.4 surviving while every MA zeroed is almost funny
fair, but a half-broken feed still screams range-bound. UNI has been chopping the same band for weeks, you barely need the MAs to justify a hold here
ignore until fixed is right, though the 0 bull 6 bear read was at least consistent with the zeros lol. garbage in, garbage conviction out
ignore until fixed is the move but people will still trade the hold call and blame the author when it goes sideways lol
two UNI pieces the same hour, same zeros, different bylines. the engine doesnt care who signs it, worth remembering next time an author catches heat for a data glitch they never touched
same zeros, same hour, two bylines. the pipeline publishes regardless, worth remembering when an author catches heat for stuff upstream
the double byline thing is the real tell. same zeros, same hour, different authors, means the pipeline just stamps a name on whatever the feed coughs up
wild that RSI 46.4 survived while every MA died. half a data feed is somehow worse than none, at least none would be obviously broken
newsletter version showed the same zeros for UNI. someone at the data vendor is having a worse tuesday than the traders
six bear factors and zero bull, from a page where half the metrics literally read 0.00. the conviction math here is just counting zeros twice lol
