    1. parking spot is exactly right. the yield differential vs usdt is the only live question on USDF, the signal gates will never fire with ADX at 10.3

    1. @flatcoin_freya topping stage on a stablecoin chart is my favorite genre of analysis. 2.14 vs the 2.52 high is just normal flatcoin drift, calling it a death cross is a stretch

    2. A death cross on a coin that trades in a three-cent band is genuinely the funniest charting assignment of 2026. Top of what, exactly?

  1. Backtest shows 0 trades, 0% win rate and they still call it HOLD. That is the most honest signal in the whole piece honestly, nothing to trade here.

    1. @Iver Rust zero trades on a 50d/200d crossover with RSI filter basically tells you USDF never left the sideways band. the ADX gate did its job i guess, no regime = no entry

    2. @Iver right? meanwhile the comparison table shows BTC +23.9% and ETH +39.9% over 3 months. holding USDF through that is a choice

      1. holding USDF through a 40% ETH quarter is only bad in hindsight. some of us had the cash ready for the dip that never came lol

        1. thats the thing though, the piece never argues upside, it argues nothing to do. whether parking cash in USDF beats usdt or plain fiat on yield is the actual question and the analysis skips it

          1. right, and the yield angle gets one paragraph of hedging. if USDF pays less than t-bills after you price in the depeg risk from that 2.52 high, you’re just donating basis points for the logo

          2. the usdt vs usdf yield gap is one lookup and the analysis still skips it. without that number the HOLD verdict is a shrug formatted as a table

          3. the gap was like 40 bps under t bills last i checked. HOLD is the right call but writing that number would have taken one paragraph

  2. 52w high of 2.52 with a -14.9% drawdown yet every timeframe reads +0.0%. the data in this analysis contradicts itself lol, which chart do i trust

    1. the 2.52 high is the tell imo. USDF depegged hard at some point and never reclaimed it, -14.9% drawdown on a stablecoin is a real event not drift

    2. the +0.0% timeframes are probably measured off the peg recon while the -14.9% is off the 2.52 high. two different baselines mashed into one dashboard, sloppy but internally consistent

    3. numeraire_ nailed it upthread, its two baselines in one dashboard. the 2.52 drawdown vs peg recon numbers, sloppy but internally consistent

  3. the -14.9% off 2.52 is the whole story imo. thats not flatcoin drift, thats a depeg scar. hold it if you want but call it what it is

    1. a 2.52 print on a coin called falcon usd is a peg break that recovered. calling it drift is generous and holding an asset whose main risk already fired once is a choice

  4. everyone clowning the chart but the real miss is no yield table. usdf at 2.14 vs t bill returns is the only comparison that matters and its absent

  5. adx at 10.3 with zero generated trades is the most honest part of this writeup. when the system refuses to touch usdf the conclusion kind of writes itself
