WLD backtest +188.5% vs buy & hold -21.8%, biggest gap ive seen from this engine. 46 trades tho, fees eat a chunk of that
the last trade alone, 0.42 into 0.60, is most of that outperformance. one lucky hold is not a system
46 trades at 54% is a real sample though. one trade carrying the returns is the norm for trend systems, the question is whether you survive the other 45
46 trades at 54% and the whole edge is surviving the losers. with a 26% stop distance on a 0.60 entry that survival part is doing heavy lifting lol
exactly, and surviving 26 percent losers means position size does all the work. most people reading this will size it like a stablecoin
every trend system alive looks like one lucky hold in hindsight. 46 trades at 54 percent is a thin sample, the 0.44 stop is what keeps it honest
fair on the lucky hold, yet 46 trades at a 54 percent win rate means the engine cuts losers fast, which is why the drawdown curve stays tolerable. i still wouldnt size it past play money until it survives a red quarter
188.5% vs -21.8% buy and hold is a wild gap but yeah, 46 trades means the fee drag is real. still the only engine call where the stop math actually covers the volatility
-85.6% drawdown from 4.17 and still a BUY on 10 bull factors. backtest did 188.5% with a 54% win rate across 46 trades so fair, but buying after a near-double feels terrible
0.23 low to 0.60 with OBV still climbing, the accumulation is real. but yeah stop at 0.44 means eating a 26% loss if the trend breaks. size accordingly
85.6% drawdown from 4.17 and people are bullish because RSI says 67. the orb people deserve each other
rsi 67 at 0.60 is only momentum if you pretend 4.17 never printed. the one thing that flips me bullish is actual orb app usage in asia, the chart alone aint it
the DCA table is the interesting part. lump sum from a year ago only did 35.4% while 12 buys did 48%. on something this volatile averaging in just works
12 DCA buys beating lump sum 48% to 35.4% on an asset that drew down 85% is the least surprising result ever. volatility punishes single entries
stop at 0.44 under the 0.42 launchpad of the last leg makes sense, but entry at 0.60 after a near double? id rather wait for a retest of the 20d before touching the first tranche
waiting for the 20d retest is the sane play but wld retests keep getting bought within hours. sometimes tranche one price is the only price you actually get
same, waiting for perfect entries on this thing just means paying higher later. eat the spread or miss the leg
this. waited for the 20d retest on wld three times this year and watched each get absorbed in hours. the tranche spacing in the plan basically admits the same thing
Retests getting bought within hours is exactly why I stopped waiting for them on WLD. Missed three entries that way.
4.17 down to 0.60 and RSI 67 gets called momentum. worldcoin needs actual orb app usage numbers, not a chart reading
world app claims like 30m installs tho, the usage numbers do exist. whether eyeball scans convert into WLD demand is the real question and 0.60 says not yet
installs are a top of funnel number. how many keep the app after the scan is the real metric and that retention chart is the one nobody publishes
retention is the ghost metric here, 30m installs with daily actives somewhere way south of that. scans are one tap, wallets need a reason to open again
Worlds recent moves on credential storage barely get a mention in the bull case. identity narrative carries this token more than the chart does
the dca table is the only row that matters here, 12 buys at 48 percent vs 35.4 lump sum on a token that drew down 85. scan adoption can argue with the chart, averaging in does not have to
