funny how gold token nerds brag about 9.6% while ETH did 56% over the same window. hold your hedge i guess
That is the entire point of a hedge though. You do not buy XAUT to beat ETH quarters, you buy it so the portfolio does not explode.
Exactly. My XAUT slug is 8% of the book and it did its job every single time BTC sneezed this year.
gold token grinding at highs while ETH did 56, sure, but try sleeping through the -56 quarter the other direction. thats what the hedge is for
the 9.6% brags are silly but so is benching a hedge against an eth quarter. xaut did its job the last two btc drawdowns, thats the whole thesis
checked the chart, XAUT barely moved during the august btc wick. a stablecoin slug wouldve hedged the same. kind of undermines the whole thesis no?
RSI 46 and price under the 200d at 4508, yeah WAIT feels right. that support at 4011 is the line im watching
4011 held twice already this year, third touch usually breaks imo. if it loses that im not bidding till the 3800s
adx at 34.8 with a stage 3 topping tag and the plan still sizes 2500 of a 10k book into it. id rather wait for a reclaim of the 200d at 4508 than average into a -21.8% drawdown
