  1. death cross still on the bearish side and the system prints BUY anyway lmao. trend followers gonna trend. ADX 43.7 is honestly juicy tho

    1. the death cross lags hard, price is above both the 1.18 and 1.27 MAs so it is already resolving. 1.68 resistance is the real test

      1. 1.68 is also where distribution started before the long slide. clears that level and this goes from grind to chase pretty fast

      2. september’s rally died at 1.684, so that wall has three rejections already. fourth try is rarely the charm, the add plan needs a fresh break not a touch

    2. Thats the whole point of the system tho. By the time the death cross clears on the daily you have missed the move from 0.99. ADX 43.7 firing with price above both MAs is the confirmation, not the cross.

    3. trend following 101, the signal tracks price and the death cross is a two year old average still catching up. MACD can lag while OBV leads

  2. -61.3% off the 3.65 high and RSI only at 61.2, plenty of room before overheated. held my bag from 2.10, first signal in months that feels real

    1. buying this far below high with support way down at 0.99 is basically the thesis. 15k deployment at 1.41, i might ape half of that

      1. half of 15k at 1.41 is fine but just respect the 1.27 stop instead of averaging down into the 0.99 support. thats where these plans usually die

  3. 33 trades and a 33% win rate but only -4.9% while buy and hold did -42.3%. That is the whole argument for trend following right there. Drawdown control matters more than win rate.

    1. Anselm the max drawdown column is what sold me too. -18.8% strategy DD vs holding through a -42% slide, I know which one lets me sleep.

    2. exactly, -4.9% across 33 trades while buy and hold bled -42.3% tells you everything about why the win rate barely matters. drawdown control is the whole game

  4. Deploying 25% now with a stop at 1.27 while RSI sits at 61.2 feels reasonable. ADX 43.7 says the trend has real legs, not a chop zone.

    1. Funny how bearish factors still list death cross and MACD- while the signal says BUY. That Sep 3 exit at 1.45 for +7.5% was the only real winner in the whole log. Resistance at 1.68 is the wall to watch.

      1. the sep 3 exit at 1.45 for 7.5 percent being the only winner is the most honest line in this thread. trend systems win in bunches or not at all

        1. bunches is exactly it. my trend journal went 1 for 9 last quarter and still finished green off two runners. win rate cope is the real trap here

  5. -61.3% off the 3.65 high and the model still waits for 1.41 to print BUY. people call trend following slow but that discipline is exactly why the drawdown column reads -18.8 and not -42

  6. 0.99 support held twice while the whole market slipped under 80k. relative strength plus a fresh signal, this is the rare buy call i dont have to squint at

  7. OBV leading while price holds 1.41 is the healthiest divergence on this chart. take the 25 percent base, add above 1.68 and let the stop do the rest

  8. 1.41 entry with 0.99 support tested twice is decent risk/reward for once. first xrp signal since the 3.65 top that i actually believe, ADX 43.7 does the heavy lifting

  9. 25% now and adding above 1.68 makes way more sense than lumping in at 1.41 with a death cross still printed on the chart. ADX 43.7 is tempting tho, not gonna lie

    1. adding above 1.68 is fine in theory but if it breaks you are entering 15% above everyone who got filled at 1.41. i would just run the 25% base and skip the breakout add

      1. skipping the breakout add means missing the 3.65 style run that pays for all the chop. 25 percent base plus full add above 1.68 is the whole design

      2. skipping the add leaves the only part of the design that catches a 3.65 style run on the table tho. half base half add, solves both problems

    2. adding above 1.68 is the design but the sep 3 point from dex_widow stands, the only winner in the log came from an exit. im running the 25% base with a trail instead

  10. First BUY card since the 3.65 top and the death cross is still printed on the bear list. I take the 25 percent base at 1.41 and let 1.68 decide everything else.
