          Linus B. right, the whole point of mechanical systems is they dont care about fundamentals. FIL can be a dying coin and still produce profitable signals if the trend is clean enough

            storage_math_ mechanical systems on volatile altcoins always look good in backtests. forward tested results on FIL since the 8.38 high would tell a different story about drawdown periods

      Ravi S. calling HOLD at 77 cents is not hopium if the system is generating exit signals too. trend following means you ride the trend down until the system says exit, then you short or stay flat. the HOLD label is just the current state
