Trend-following methodology: 50d/200d MA crossover + RSI filter + ADX regime gate

82 trades, 0% win rate, and a BUY signal on something that has been pinned at 1.00 all year. the engine really needs a stablecoin exemption list
the 2.26 volume ratio is just depeg churn from the march wobble, feeding it back in as a bull factor is silly
an exemption list is the cleanest fix honestly. or just filter anything with ATR under half a percent of price, that catches gho and every other pegged token without special casing
an atr filter fails the moment a pegged token actually depegs, which is the one time you want the alert. exemption list is the only fix that survives contact
exemption list plus a depeg circuit breaker then. pegged tokens get filtered until they move 2 percent, then the alerts snap back on
so cap it both ways, filter ATR under 0.5% but auto unfilter the moment price moves 2%. the tech is not hard, someone just has to care
combine both then, exemption list by default and the filter lifts if price moves 2 percent off the peg. depeg alerts stay live, 82 useless signals on a dollar disappear
half a percent ATR filter catches every stablecoin without a committee. sometimes the dumb fix is the fix
ATR filter would work but it also nukes legit low-vol LSTs. still need someone eyeballing an exemption list once a quarter imo
0 for 82 on a token pinned at 1.00 and the takeaway was still BUY. that is a rounding error with a logo, not a signal
0 for 82 is the funniest stat on this site. the engine needs a peg detector before it needs another backtest
0 for 82 being a rounding error assumes the engine ever counted gho as tradeable. someone upstream just forgot stablecoins exist in the asset map
the 0% win rate take is fair but thats kind of the point, stablecoin pair trades are range plays not trend catches. still agree the engine flagging GHO as a BUY is silly
GHO 0.0% for the year while ETH did +41.9% on the same table. you basically paid spread to hold a dollar
stop loss 1.00, targets 1.00, ADX 75 screaming bear trend. truly the most risk-free trade of all time lmao
that -17.7% drawdown is only the 1.21 peak snapback. every stat on this page is measuring one weird week in march
march was unhinged, gho tagged 1.21 and every dashboard treated it like a momentum breakout. half these indicators still have ptsd from that one week
the march 1.21 print also poisons the 2.26 volume ratio in this writeup. one week of chaos turned into 82 signals of noise
6 bull 2 bear on a coin pinned at 1.00 since forever. RSI 54.7 on a stablecoin, truly we are living in the future
a BUY signal on a stablecoin holding 1.00 is the most trend-following thing i’ve ever seen. the system is technically correct and completely useless here
GHO at 1.00 with ATR of 0.13% a day. the ADX 75.4 bear flag is funny, it’s just measuring the peg wobbling
^ exactly. the only real trade here is the 0.90 low snapback if it depegs again, the ‘uptrend’ means nothing
GHO at 1.00 with ETH +41.9% on the same table is the whole review in one row. you held a dollar and called it a strategy
honestly the funniest bit is the engine backtested 82 trades on a 1.00 peg and never once asked what asset it was trading
stop loss at 1.00 on a stablecoin with targets also at 1.00. the engine wrote a joke and published it
the engine even gave it an 82 trade backtest on a peg. whoever builds the asset map needs a stablecoin filter by end of quarter
