price pinned at 1.00 with a 0.1% drawdown and the verdict is still avoid lol. that tells you everything about the upside here, which is none
exactly, i looked at this thing for five minutes and the 52w high being 1.00 means you are buying a peg and hoping. hard pass
a 0.1% drawdown on something pinned at 1.00 and the call is full SELL. the 10k is safer in t-bills either way lol
this whole analysis is 1200 words concluding the number did not move. wild that it even got a conviction score
bull side is OBV up and a vol ratio of 1.32 and that is still only 2 bull factors vs 3 bear. medium conviction avoid is the right call imo
vol ratio 1.32 is barely above dead. you need the peg to actually break before any of these factors matter
backtest shows 0 trades over 2 years. that is the system telling you there was never an edge here, any rating is decoration
0 trades over 2 years is the cleanest signal in the whole piece tbh. no edge means the honest rating is pass, stamping SELL on it implies a short nobody should take
whole thread arguing about the rating and nobody asking what the yield even accrues at. that is the only reason to ever hold something like this and the writeup barely touches it
the accrual rate is the one number that matters and its buried lol. 1200 words on a coin that never moved
checked the docs, the accrual tracks the fed funds effective rate minus fees. so it is a money market fund with extra steps and worse redemption hours
worse redemption hours AND a chain between you and the issuer. sgov pays the same rate with actual liquidity, the coin wrapper adds nothing but risk
the sgov comparison ends the whole debate honestly. same rate, no chain between you and the issuer, and you can sell at market open instead of waiting on a redemption desk
0 trades in 2 years is the loudest thing the backtest has ever said. rating a peg in any direction beyond pass is just content generation at that point
an avoid call on a coin pinned at 1.00 is unactionable by definition. cant short it, wouldnt buy it, there is genuinely no trade to write up
right, the only version of this trade that pays is redemption arb and that is a desk job with real size, not a 10k retail deployment
honest rating would be PASS with a note that ylds accrues while it sits. stamping SELL on a dollar peg is the model reaching for content
3 bear factors vs 2 bull and the conviction is only medium? id have gone harder on the sell, this thing has no upside case at all
medium conviction on a stablecoin sell is the model being honest for once. going hard against a peg is how you end up as liquidity for the redemption arb
fading a working dollar peg is pennies in front of a steamroller that is not coming. pass is the only defensible rating on this thing
RSI 45.3 and ADX 17.7 on a stablecoin, literally watching paint dry. the whole avoid rating is free real estate
A token pinned at 1.00 with 0.04 percent daily ATR getting a full analysis writeup is peak content diet. The system said AVOID, that is the whole article.
2 years, 0 trades, and somehow medium conviction. the only ylds trade that ever existed was the airdrop sell
